Destiny by the Sea

Destiny by the Sea is a small gated community on the Gulf side of Scenic Highway 98 in Destin — one of the few places in the city where you can buy a detached home inside a gate with private beach access.

Homes here are large custom residences, many with Gulf views and elevator-served floors, built to make the most of a beachfront or near-beachfront position. The community is compact, which keeps it quiet, and the private access means owners and guests are not competing for space at a public walkover.

This is a premium Destin address and is priced accordingly. Properties here also command strong rates in the luxury short-term rental market, which is part of why they hold value. Listings are infrequent, so buyers serious about Destiny by the Sea should be set up to move when one appears.
