Navarre Beach

Navarre Beach sits on Santa Rosa Island between Navarre and the Gulf, bordered on both sides by the Gulf Islands National Seashore. That protected land is the defining fact about the place: development is limited to a narrow strip, and the beaches on either side stay empty.

Property is largely condominium, along with a number of beach houses and townhomes, with Gulf-front and sound-front positions both available. The Navarre Beach fishing pier, the marine park and the sound-side launches are all here, and the water on the sound side is calm enough for paddling and small boats.

Navarre Beach has historically offered better value than Destin or 30A for comparable proximity to the water, and rental demand is steady through the season. One thing to understand before buying: much of Navarre Beach is leasehold land rather than fee simple, which affects financing and long-term value — we can explain what that means for any specific property.
