Old Seagrove

SEAGROVE BEACH NEIGHBORHOOD

About Old Seagrove

Old Seagrove is the original heart of Seagrove Beach, the stretch of 30A just east of Seaside where the magnolias and live oaks come right down toward the dunes. It predates the master-planned communities on either side of it, and it has never been tidied into a single architectural style — you will find 1950s block cottages, renovated bungalows and substantial new builds within a block of one another.

That variety is the point. Streets here are narrow and shaded, several are still sand, and most homes are within an easy walk of a public beach access. There is no gate, no uniform paint palette and no town center, which for a certain kind of buyer is exactly what makes Old Seagrove worth paying for.

Seaside, the Seagrove shops, the 30A bike path and Eastern Lake are all close by. Lots in Old Seagrove rarely come up, and homes here hold their value well because the supply of walk-to-the-beach property on this part of 30A is fixed.
