WaterSound West Beach

WaterSound West Beach is a small gated neighborhood on the north side of 30A, just west of WaterSound Beach. It was designed at a more intimate scale than its larger neighbours: a compact grid of streets, a central green and a community pool, with the beach a short walk or bike ride away.

Homes are coastal cottages and two-storey residences with porches and metal roofs, generally on tidy lots that suit buyers who do not want a large yard to maintain from out of state. Because the neighborhood is small, it stays quiet, and the gate keeps 30A traffic out of the streets.

The appeal here is getting a gated WaterSound address with genuine beach proximity at a different price point from the Gulf-front homes across the highway. Listings are infrequent, so buyers watching this neighborhood are usually well served by a saved search.
